Can confirm that Wise use Open Banking API to send money in the UK, if your bank supports it. If your bank doesn't support it, it's either debit / credit card or bank transfer.
Back in 2016, Depop's founder, Simon Beckerman, was on an episode of BBC's The Bottom Line podcast about "The Youth Market" [1]. He explained his motivation behind starting Depop (app-driven alternative to eBay with a social element) and I thought it was quite insightful.

Which Chinese platform runs all these checks? Really curious as I don't have much experience with selling on Chinese platforms.

Agreed. Krakow, Poznan, many cities in Poland are full of talented young people and they produce great stuff. But the current line of the Polish government will make it a less than ideal place for investment.
