I always wanted to start a blog but never found the time, but I try to tweet everyday about my progress and the things I build!
The images in my emails are made with Figma the rest is your basic email template builder. I think you can archive something similar with Canva :)

I started building 7todos.com, a task board, to get an overview of my projects.
It became quite difficult to keep track of all the tasks in different projects. I've tried tools like Trello, Jira, or simple todo apps, but they were either too complex for a single person like Jira or didn't help to manage multiple projects. So the main purpose of 7todos is to get an overview of all projects and their tasks.
I also have the concept of Lifetime for my duties. By default, it is set to 7 days. If a task is nearing its "end", it is highlighted in the overview. However, if I fail to complete the task, she will die and end up in a place called the cemetery. You have the option to revive your dead tasks if necessary.
It's a tool I made for myself, so many of the concepts aren't for everyone. But I've opened it up to others over time.
Oh, and it's free to use the Stripe integration right now, but you still get the premium account when you sign in to the atm. I collect feedback and want to know whether others like the concept.

That also does the trick! However, not everyone knows how to create a GitHub profile. And if you are not a developer, it might be a bit weird to send a GitHub profile :D

Hey everyone, it's been a while!
A lot has happened since my launch on HN with Resoume. But today I wanted to present you the little brother I named Resou — the lite but free version.
2020 was not a great year for many of us. To help where I can, I decided to create a free resume builder out of Resoume.
This is also a pilot project for me. I heard once that a free product could be a great way to generate new traffic. So I thought this might be a great way to find out. Two birds with one stone.
What do you think? Is this a workable way to give something of value? Will users bother testing Resoume? I appreciate your feedback.

Ah yes, I didn't knew that a few month ago until someone mentioned it. But you have the option now to hide the picture in the templates :) Maybe I need to highlight that somewhere in the website.
Hey hey, Yes, I did not want to display 2-page CVs on the landing page. But apart from my CV in the middle, the rest are real applications. Not everyone has a lot of work experience when they start their journey :) Oh, and they got the job with the CVs mentioned on the landing page.
Regarding the ATS, here is a response I gave to a similar question: If you don't know how ATS extract data, use a text-based resume and the right keywords. A word document is most of the time, the best choice. But if you know how the data extraction works, you can play around with the layout and design. Imagine we have a scale from -4 to 4. I will put you at 1 with the template because the data can get extracted in the right order, and the keywords for the sections are right. But the rest is currently up to you. Check out the job description. What keywords are they using there? Skills mention earlier are more important than the ones at the bottom. Use them in your resume as well.
This might be true...I used it because it is one of the safest way to implement user registration. But maybe I need to introduce a solution without a social media acc.

Whether a "pretty" resume is better than a simple text-based resume is highly subjective. So for me, I would prefer the "pretty" one. It communicates to me that the candidate put in the extra work. Or at least a bit more effort than the simple one. But again, highly subjective. I got actually hired because the CV I created caught their eyes. It was mentioned during the interviews. That is why I created resoume :)
Hmmm...there is no "right" way to pronounce it, since it is a made up word, but I pronounce it like this: Resoume(ˈrɛzou:meɪ)

You can have 5 or 10 applications at the same time. But you can iterate, delete, recreate and download them as many times as you want.
I am not a featured post but in the marketplace on AppSumo. So it is much harder to get noticed by the audience. They have different outreach stages, depending on the number of positive reviews. So in the beginning it is up to you to get five 4 star reviews. After that they will mention you in the fb group. Also the share between you and AppSumo is better I think. But not 100% sure.
