I think with today's politicians it's more of an issue of credit. These projects take a very long time, piss off people until they're done, and there's a high chance a different politician will be in the office at that time and claim credit.

I’ve been using Reddit since 2010 without issues, behaving poorly enough to get permabanned (which is different than being banned from a subreddit) is serious. There’s a story being left out here.
Honestly, I'm not sure if anyone is really interested in advice from someone who somehow managed to get permabanned on reddit.
It's true that people have been complaining about "eternal september" since at least 2010 when I joined. However IMO reddit really has declined in discussion quality for the most part since then, asides from banning some of the worst subreddits. To say that 2022 reddit is the same as 2010 reddit is preposterous.
The main thing right now is bots. Endless copying & reposting of submissions, and even wholesale copy/pasting comment replies. The reddit staff have to know about this as it's been going on for a while, but seemingly don't care.

This is a thorough misunderstanding of how dictionaries work. There is no all-powerful movement (composed of people who don’t want to work…?) dictating language changes.
People update usage over time and dictionaries reflect that. It’s extremely common and not just a modern effect.
It’s just a property of human language and it occurs in every language.

Yes, such as every major one.
Dictionaries are prescriptive. People use different words or use them in different ways over time and dictionaries update to reflect that. The only difference is how fast they update.
I hardly ever remember dreams, maybe once per month or less. Sometimes if I eat specific foods like pizza right before bed it can trigger a potent dream, but I avoid eating stuff late at night now anyhow.
I haven't specifically tried to dream less but I've never tried to remember anything either. When I wake up, I immediately start thinking about my plans for the day and/or check HN/instagram (admittedly, a bad habit).
