Cold-applied on the website (like many other jobs). I got an email response fairly quickly (also like many other jobs). I used their product in my last role and was impressed with it. Very happy now :)
Yeah I like it even though the science says it’s bunk. I feel more well-rested. I tried the constituent minerals separately but the effect wasn’t the same. Either a placebo or the dosage/formulation in ZMA has a unique effect.
The supplement ZMA gives me good recall of my dreams pretty frequently.
Probably Leetcode stuff. “You have 45 minutes to solve these two problems that were doctoral theses of famous programmers. Go.”
Me to a T
I’ll bite. Are you suggesting that those foods you mentioned have anabolic effects analogous to exogenous steroids?
Parent is presumably referring to public companies. Many of us have a sizable chunk of our compensation coming from RSUs.
> My experience is that _while engaging in that maintenance_ Twitter rapidly depleted in utility and value for me, because the dark patterns that encourage outrage engagement infected all those that I follow. It's simply not possible, AFAICT, to actively filter Twitter for strong content and not eventually either recede into accepting outrage or reducing one's feed to uselessness.
I reached the same conclusion. It’s garbage, and I quit. Occasionally I’ll get a text from a friend linking to Twitter and I regret following the link, every time, within 60 seconds or so.
And this is why I hate those "Tell me what happens when you type google.com into your browser" questions. Unless the interviewer is VERY active in guiding the discussion, I have no idea how to proceed. I could probably talk about DNS for 20 min. I totally bombed this question in an interview once because I got like zero feedback during the discussion.
> They might not be able to do math but they are still criminals.
> Jokes aside
Where's the joke?
They did go into detail about the risk and potential losses in the meeting scene.
I found a huge increase in happiness when I moved from Vegas to Denver. I am outside much more often and frequently have the windows open at home. Supposedly the presence of trees has been shown to improve mood (no citation, read the abstract on HN somewhere). Of course, there have been other life changes that have contributed but I feel this is a large reason.
Right haha...like, I WANTED to pay my bills and take care of speeding tickets, etc. I just failed miserably at those type of things for a long time.
According to this [0], Denver metro area - 1.626M males and 1.641M females.

Because the "other side" wouldn't take offense to it. Newton's 3rd law applied to the social sciences.
> But the way their UI/UX is built, it is not conducive for exploring. They've taken so much control away from me. I have to rely on what IT thinks I should be watching
I don’t think they want you exploring too much. It would expose how little content they actually have.
> And in small cities/towns, getting a taxi was nearly impossible a lot of the times.
Not just small cities. I lived in Las Vegas for many years. Try getting a taxi to take you from the airport to the suburbs at 2am. I got hung up on by two taxi services. When I finally got someone to pick me up, I had to wait 30 mins for them to drop off other fares to the Strip before they would take me.

Precisely why the worlds problems are all solvable on Twitter.
