Thanks! And it's interesting you mention those features as I was thinking of adding some in the same vein e.g. charts, stock quotes, pivot tables, etc.

Didn't think about notification though but sounds like a good idea!

Thanks! Yeah it's a tough one - I feel it would be someone who'd want to use Google Sheets, but doesn't want the full weight of using Google Sheets.

The challenge being that this type of app isn't well known, so has been difficult targeting ads / SEO. I'm also finding the usefulness of other notepad calculators being that that they're desktop apps, so I'm investigating creating an Electron desktop app (plus gives the advantage of the App Store as another channel)

In terms of monetisation, most probably a freemium model where a user can create 5 sheets, and if they want more it could be a $5/month product. If it gets in an organisation it could scale but one step at a time ;)

I've also optimised those templates to be indexed as landing pages so if there's enough traffic, advertising could be another option.

Finally, has been in the back of my mind but potentially trying to hit the education market, though I'm not really familiar in the space so that's a bit further down the list.

Hi all. Figr's a side project I've been working on to get back into coding after being in management the last couple years. I decided to create it as I love using other notepad style calculators i.e. Soulver, Numi, etc, but was always frustrated there wasn't an online version to share and collaborate like Google Docs.

It's a little hard to explain but I've got some examples which are hopefully relevant to the community

I see the same thing with my parents though on closer inspection of the data, 65+ yo users use their smartphone less than all the other cohorts on the hart.

Why not have both? Still allow users to submit their own listings but (like twitter/Instagram) have an additional verification process which gives business a "blue tick" if verified.

I'm not 100% across Chinese politics, but from what I understand the Politburo[1] (where the top leaders sit, including Xi) are voted in by the Central Committee [1].

But the Central Committee isn't really an independent body, and the people who sit there are selected by the Politburo - effectively the Politburo members just vote themselves in.

(P.s. as mentioned I'm not 100% across the politics in China so happy to be corrected)
