Btw I'm shaved head bald and people generally seem to dig it. Not everyone's cup of tea, but dudes really have not much control over the genetics involved. In my admittedly extremely biased opinion it's harsh to hold against someone.

Just go a little further back and the prices settle down pretty quickly. When the news of "used cars so expensive" first began I went and checked CL my older vehicles and the prices have remained stable or even gone lower this entire pando.
Yes, except Facebook is greedy and prefers to instead keep the money and unethically gaslight and abuse employees.
How "near real time" is it? Could be quite powerful!
How about a used car?
I could have virtually any car I want, but both of mine I bought used and they are 2006 or older.
No payments except the occasional mechanical issue, which is nothing compared to $700/mo.
One can purchase a decent and safe used vehicle for less than one year of $700/month car payments.
Paying $25k outright, or whatever per month for a new Kia POS is pretty dumb, hard to be sympathetic for these fools.
> The author also has a fun explanation that you don’t need many more digits to reduce the error to the width of a hydrogen atom… at the scale of the visible universe
How many more, though?
<Perfectionist>1.5in of error per few billion miles seems a bit sloppy, even though I'm sure it fits JPLs objectives just fine.</>
Is this some kind of a pi-nus measuring contest joke?
Yeah, yeah, go ahead and downvote this one to death. I know we don't like jokes 'round these parts, especially low-effort immature ones. :~(
Amp is the worst, and now Google has reneged and rolled back on it, yet many sites still have it integrated because it's more work to undo all the work that's already been done to migrate to amp to begin with. A solid, first-class, grade-HIV+ clusterfuck.
IIRC, Apple and Google (Steve Jobs and whoever from Google, Larry Paige probably) did it circa 2008. Douchebaggerymaximus.
I don't like being interrupted randomly by a bot just for a dependency bump. It feels like I'm working for the computer instead of the other way around.
To be clear, I'm not arguing to not update vulnerable dependencies, though often enough my project doesn't actually use the vulnerable part of said dependency, effectively making the whole exercise somewhat pointless, akin to virtue signaling for dependencies. Sounds dumb, right?
For work projects, I appreciate it. For my open source experiments, not so much.
If there was a way to let the bot do everything from beginning to end, merging and possibly breaking everything without manual intervention, that could be exciting! (Probably in a bad way? Milage will surely vary!)
Fantastic writeup, definitely the easiest and clearest I've come across in terms of being able to follow along from first principles after being only a git customer. Bravo.
If you know of any resources you think are even better please do share! xD
> Cross app caching for such common data could be a huge boon for watchOS complications..
What is your differentiation criteria between anticipating a "huge" boon versus a "regular" or "modest" boon"?
Seems I struck a nerve >:}
Don't get your garments in a bunch over it matey.
Usually opens PRs too minor to be worthwhile.
Companionship no longer seems alluring or appealing? Sorry to hear it, that sounds rough.
IME Dependabot is, at best, annoying.
Unless it opens a full-fledged PR with the fixes and a good description of WHY, I don't want it.
It's almost like the F1 tires have nothing to do with the consumer tires.. hmm.
Brand failure? I think so.
My Michelin's are fine and grip effectively.
The downvotes are at best amusing and at worst concerning, usually I don't comment on it but in this case I'm genuinely curious- who is against staying safe? Like, what!?? Please leave a comment instead, unless you're just bitterly trolling.
It's called "negging", and manipulators use this tactic all the time. Most commonly against women. Gross is an understatement for this breed of human.
Everyone has some flags, but I thought you said you'd had a boyfriend from an app before? If it was more than a purely physical relationship, I think you're off the hook :)
> And love you for being so active in this discussion ! I’m inviting you to my wedding metadat:)
Aww I'm honored, and FYI- I literally just sent out the invites for mine this coming August :D Cheers!
