A minor note is that OpenAI does specifically forbid generation of images of human faces from DALL-E 2: I wonder why that last image didn't hit the content filter.
T5 was open-sourced on release (up to 11B params): https://github.com/google-research/text-to-text-transfer-tra...
It is also available via Hugging Face transformers.
However, the paper mentions T5-XXL is 4.6B, which doesn't fit any of the checkpoints above, so I'm confused.
Granted that's a selection bias: you likely won't hear about the cases where legit obscene output occurs. (the only notable case I've heard is the AI Dungeon incident)
Generating at 64x64px then upscaling it probably gives the model a substantial performance boost (training speed/convergence) than working at 256x256 or 1024x1024 like DALL-E 2. Perhaps that approach to AI-generated art is the future.
> A lot of crypto is definitely bullshit, but you’d be an idiot to ignore the realistic and adopted use-cases.
If crypto was self-regulating to disincentivize said bullshit, then it wouldn't be an issue.
Instead, the bullshit is a feature, not a bug, and thus overshadows any legit use cases of crypto by association.
A central database leveraging OLAP connections within Excel may be a good half-measure.
With the latest update on macOS 12.3, it should work with any camera-using app as it uses the native macOS APIs.
Most likely a scam leveraging Elon Musk's name, as is common in crypto.
I have a GitHub repo to create more optimized encoding of MtG cards from the JSON card dumps: https://github.com/minimaxir/ai-generated-magic-cards
I also have a Colab Notebook which lets you generate cards from a trained AI on it, allowing you to specify components of cards to constrain the generation: https://colab.research.google.com/drive/1VOt090UzvltoBgMdUZm...
I had another tool to generate images of the AI-generated cards but unfortunately using Wine + Magic Set Editor on Linux is very fussy. I might revisit it someday.

Additionally, the tokenizer vocabulary is unchanged from GPT-2.
You can use HuggingFace's GPT-2 tokenizer as well. (some of OpenAI's GPT-3 notebooks do just that).
Title slightly editorialized to include that it's the Twitter CEO as it's contextually relevant and would make the title confusing if not present. (particularly as this is a direct rebuttal to Elon Musk's claims about bots on the platform)

Back in 2016 I did a similar approach to calculate related users: one using graph similarity (https://minimaxir.com/2016/05/reddit-graph/ , albeit the embeds broke) and another using jaccard similarity (like this viz) with a different approach to visualization which IMO turned out easier to interpret than a graph-based approach (https://minimaxir.com/2016/06/reddit-related-subreddits/ )
CLIP has a distinct Vision Transformer and distinct Text Transformer model that are then matmul'd to create the aligned embedding space.
Gato apparently just uses a single model.
Transformer models have clearly demonstrated that you can convert anything into an input embedding and the AI can learn from it, even if the embeddings are from drastically distant domains.

> I’m just now learning that Parag fired Kayvon while he was on paternity leave, which is truly awful.
> Parag is on his way out too. Why is he firing his product leaders during his lame-duck period?
