It certainly does necessitate the need. Apps and use cases keep advancing, which introduces more complexity, which requires faster CPUs, which requires better technology to fit that into the exit power budget. This is... why OEMs keep putting faster processors into new products.
Consumer battery technology isn't advancing at pace with increased compute.

The way I see it, they're mostly in different markets -- or rather, Intel is in more markets.
Apple makes processors for their own vertical lines of computing devices.
Intel makes processors for an entire market of computing devices with diverse OEMs.
Currently, I cannot buy an Apple M processor and slap it into a variety of needs-based form factors (server, desktop tower, embedded, etc). And even if I could, Linux and Windows still aren't usable on it.

It supports collapsible sections just with the Markdown syntax but it’s also highly-extensible in any way you wish. I think Bear and other editors support Markdown collapsible a as well.

They still exist -- they are most often called Chromebooks now, but you can put Windows or Linux on most any of them.
There are also other Chromebook-like netbooks that run some "lite" version of Windows called "S Mode", but I've never seen one in person.

It's a bit janky, but VLC Player can act as both the client and server, here. Shoutcast did multicast, too, the last I checked.

Write documentation, write blog posts, make videos about concepts or tools that interest you (enthusiasm is contagious), as you learn them.
Make them for any skill level you feel comfortable with.
FWIW, I grew up playing 80s/90s flight sims and later went into the military and worked on planes and got the opportunity to use military flight simulators and was able to make my way around the cockpit and takeoff/land pretty much immediately.
I think my key for landing was learning flaps and throttle and getting a feel for stall speeds in sims.
Now, would I want to test that in an actual plane in a life and death emergency? Not really. But I'd wager my odds are good.
And if you're a programmery-type, you can programmatically generate graphs using DOT/Graphviz and load them into draw.io for final tweaking!
I used to use OmniGraffle, but have since jumped over to Draw.io. OG is far more elegant, but draw.io is just handier overall.
You should move your crypto out of Coinbase or any other exchange's wallet into your own cold wallet.
In Coinbase's case, you can move that crypto to any wallet, including Coinbase's Coinbase Wallet app, where you have possession of the private key and should still have access to those funds if CB were to go south.
But yeah, welcome to the world of currency not backed by guns, so to speak.
